Maintain the Right Pressure
You should check your car's tyre pressure regularly to ensure that it’s at an appropriate level. The recommended pressure depends on the vehicle, but a good starting point is 33 psi (pounds per square inch) or 2.5 bar for cars with standard tyres and 45 psi (or 3.1 bar) for run-flat tyres. Not to forget, overinflation can also diminish grip due to a decrease in tread contact with the road, resulting in more significant wear in the centre of the tread. Although many cars have pressure monitoring systems, we recommend checking them manually.
